He also volunteered with Huntsville Meals on Wheels as a Board member and driver for many years and served on the Lake of Bays Township Councilor’s Advisory Committee. He was an active church member in Windsor at Westminster United Church, then Trinity United Church in Huntsville, serving on their Boards in a variety of capacities and singing in the choir. Murray dedicated himself to the community, joining the Lake of Bays Fire Station 50 as a volunteer in 2003, retiring from the role of Acting Captain after 12 years. He started his career with Chrysler and retired in 2002 from their advertising agency Ross Roy Communications / BBDO.Īfter retiring, Murray and Lynda moved to their cottage on Oxbow Lake near Huntsville, where they enjoyed time with family and friends.
